By land or by sea.
By car:
US Highway 264, on the north shore of the Pungo River. About 45 minutes from Washington, NC, and 2 hours from Raleigh. Free street parking on Pamlico St.
By boat:
ICW mile marker 136 off the Pungo River from the Pamlico Sound, on the Intracoastal Waterway route. We welcome boaters transiting the East Coast and neighbors from Beaufort and Hyde Counties. Tie up at River Forest or Belhaven Waterway and walk over.
